17th Century Extended Rectory House
Gloucestershire
Following extensive renovation works to the house itself, our brief was to redesign and realign the whole estate of this tired manor house garden. The key requirements were an improvement to the approach and driveway, the creation of both formal and informal entertainment areas, the introduction of a snug and private pool and pool house garden, and an improvement to the woodland and organic areas.
Tiered herbaceous walled border, embracing classical formal lawns.
Naturalistic wildflower orchard, with intimate wisteria walkways leading to woodlands beyond.
Sunken walled pool house and garden, with Provence-inspired planting and outdoor kitchen and bar entertainment area.
Mature structural garden and parkland tree planting throughout the grounds.
